The tattoo is over, the trumpets polished, the drums put away. Here is a short reaction from the Euroband:
On behalf of all the members of Euroband Rotterdam we would like to thank you for the tremendous time we had in your beautiful country Canada. It was an amazing experience for us to participate in the 2008 Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo, Halifax.
We also would like to thank the Netherlands Embassy in Canada for the attention you gave to the Tattoo and especially to Euroband on your website. This way the Dutch people in Canada knew we were coming.
Hopefully we’ll be back someday.
Regards on behalf of Euroband,
Korien Olsthoorn, Travel Agency Euroband
About the tattoo:
Featuring over 2,000 world-class Canadian and international military and civilian performers, the Tattoo continues to live up to its reputation as one of the world’s premiere cultural and entertainment events.
The Tattoo strikes a unique balance, featuring pipes and drums, military and civilian bands, historic re-enactments, dancers, acrobats, choirs, military displays and competitions, drama and comedy in a number of innovative acts, in a fast-paced two and a half hour family show.
