Dutch participation at the Interior Design Show in Toronto was well received at the Opening Reception, when three beautiful models, dressed in an abundance of flowers, presented “Miss Malicious”, “Miss Extravagant” and “Miss Sensuous” to promote Dutch Design. These flowerdresses are the work of Dutch designers Niels van Eijk en Miriam van der Lubbe. The flowers were sponsored by Flowers Canada.

Renowed Dutch flower designer Ton van Jaarsveld held a workshop “Play with Flowers, Play with Colour” which identified floral trends and innovative uses of flowers and plants.

In addition, The Netherlands was present with a Holland booth where two Dutch design companies were introduced to the Canadian market:
