Producers confidence up…
The mood among Dutch manufacturers improved for the second month in a row. Producer confidence in the manufacturing industry was 5.3 in June, as against 3.7 in May. The mood among manufacturers is positive, but they are less optimistic than at the beginning of 2008.

…and consumers confidence down…
Consumer confidence declined a little further in June. The indicator fell from -17 in May to -19 in June. The mood among Dutch consumers has worsened considerably since September 2007. In June it reached its lowest point in two and a half years. The decrease in consumer confidence in June was attributable to less confidence in the state of the economy as well as less willingness to buy.
