Dutch women quit jobs for kids
The number of Dutch women who quit their jobs after
becoming a mother is larger than expected, according to the daily newspaper Het
Financieele Dagblad, debunking the popular notion that they are more career focused. A
study by institute NIDI showed that about one-third of the 900 women polled had stopped
working due to motherhood.
